The purpose of push back shelving:
1. A push back shelf is composed of typical structural components such as pallet trucks, which have flowability characteristics. Goods are regulated to enter and exit at one end of the shelf and follow the order of first in, last out;
2. When storing and transporting goods, forklifts are only located at the lower end of the shelf channel and do not need to enter the storage channel for goods on the shelf. This type of shelf has typical characteristics of high storage density and fast storage and transportation speed;
3. It is usually used in situations where storage space is extremely limited, but storage capacity must be increased or there is a time requirement for goods, which does not require high picking requirements for goods.
Features of push back shelving:
1. When the number of pallets for a certain product is large and does not require "first in, first out", it can simplify the work process and achieve significant benefits;
2. Can shorten the picking time without the need for special handling equipment;
3. Due to the large storage area and limited channels, the space utilization and productivity are both high;
4. It can avoid the cargo damage that is often caused by high-density storage shelves during loading and unloading operations.
